Engage 50+ Festival: Back by popular demand after its huge success in 2017! As last year, we're launching the Festival with an Information Day on Saturday 29th September 2018 at an exciting new venue, Stratford College, The Willows North (off the Morrisons roundabout), Alcester Road, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 9QR (mapwhere you'll find 80+ local voluntary groups, charities, associations and clubs - and a few carefully selected commercial companies. Plus interesting, informative - and fun! - talks, workshops and demonstrations. Try dance zumba style, discover the joys of bee-keeping, meet the Men in Sheds, get creative with Escape Arts, make new friends with U3A or WI, strum on a ukulele, enjoy being pampered and stretch your mind and body with Tai Chi or Mindfulness - and much more. There'll also be plenty of practical advice on everything from how to set  up a Power of Attorney, Care Entitlement, improving your health, well-being and happiness and loads more. Oh yes, entry is FREE and so is a complimentary tea/coffee and a biscuit - or two! - plus more substantial food for the peckish. In addition to all this, you'll receive a FREE ticket for a fabulous raffle! Parking is easy and FREE too and this year we'll be running two FREE shuttle buses to the College from and around the town centre and outlying areas. Bus stops and collection points will be posted on this site in mid-August and published in the local press.

If you are 50 to 100+ and would like to learn a new skill, discover a new hobby, volunteer or simply enjoy the company of like-minded people, you won't want to miss the Information Day so SAVE THE DATE and time: 10am to 4pm. There'll be many other exciting events too during the following week such as the Engage Barn Dance at Great Alne, a Make & Take Crafting Day, a Grand Tea Party at the Town Hall and more. These events are listed on the Events page - many others to come. Contact us for tickets where necessary. Look forward to the pleasure of your company.

By the way, Alcester is holding its own Information Day this year on Monday 1st October so why not visit both?!
